Carol I. Daron's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Irene Daron, age 85, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Saline, Michigan. She was born in Maywood, Illinois on February 29, 1932 to Richard and Elizabeth (Erlichmann) Nauss. Carol attended Concordia University and moved to Muskegon to pursue a teaching position at Trinity Lutheran School, where she taught for many years. On July 10, 1954, Carol married James F. Daron and they resided in Muskegon until moving to Saline, MI in 2013 to be closer to their daughter. Carol was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was involved with Women’s Circle, taught Sunday School for 15 years, was involved with the Bazaar and Second Time Around Sale, and served as reader. Carol loved her family and enjoyed being active in her daughter’s life, including serving as a room mother at school and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, James F. Daron; her daughter, Susan Daron; sister, Ruth Laubenstein; two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Herb Laubenstein. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1:30 PM Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Chapel at Brecon Village (309 Brecon Drive, Saline, MI 48176) with Rev. Thomas Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. MEMORIALS in memory of Carol may be directed to Christ Our King Lutheran Church.
