Carol Diane Glover's Obituary
Carol Diane Glover, age 67, a radiant soul whose light touched countless lives, peacefully departed this world on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Poppen House in Norton Shores, Michigan. Born on June 29, 1956, in Jackson, Michigan. Carol worked for Aeroquip Corp for the Project Engineering Dept. (1985-1992), Michigan Dept of Treasury in Lansing, Grand Haven Parole and Probation, where she happily retired from the Michigan Dept of Corrections in 2018.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; father, Carl Mannor; mother, Norma Jean; stepfather, Fred Brown; and brother, Alan Mannor. She is survived by her son, Joshua (Amber) Glover, and granddaughter, Allyson from Manteca, California. She is also survived by Randy Hotnisky and Coco; three sisters, Sandy (Roscoe) Craft, Debbie (Carl) Brashares and Julie (Ken) Frankhouse; and brother, Randy Mannor.
Carol’s journey in life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family, her career and her commitment to making a positive impact on the world around her. Throughout her life, Carol was a woman of immense accomplishments that filled her life with joy and excitement. Beyond her work career she embraced hobbies that reflected her zest for life. She enjoyed golf, traveling, Lake Michigan and oceanside beaches and sunsets, gardening, crafting and had a love for reading.
As we bid farewell to Carol, we honor the imprint she left on our lives. Though she has left this world, her memory will forever remain a beacon of light. Her presence brought joy to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace Carol, you will live on in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
