Carol Ann Kwolek's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Ann Kwolek, age 81, passed away in Muskegon, Michigan on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born in Muskegon on August 29, 1944 to Kenneth and Anna (Lappo) Gundy and was a lifelong resident of the area. Carol dedicated over 30 years of service to Non Ferrous Cast Alloys before retiring in 2007. She was a proud member of the Don Rea VFW Post #8846. Above all, Carol cherished her family, and her grandsons were truly the light of her life. On September 16, 1968, Carol married Valarine “Larry” Kwolek in Muskegon and he survives her along with children, Deanna (Chris) Morse and Tom (Deborah) Sohn; her two grandsons, Cody and Caden Morse; and brother, Edward Japenga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Viola Gundy and Anna and Robert Japenga; and her sister, Bonnie Muttart. According to Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date.
