Mrs. Carol Elaine LeRoux's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Elaine LeRoux, age 93, passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2014 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Carol was born December 25, 1920 in Muskegon to Williard N. and Alice E. (Bee) Moblo. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1940. On September 21, 1941 Carol married Alfred W. LeRoux and he preceded her in death in November of 2010, after 70 years of marriage. They enjoyed many years of doing everything together and enjoyed their time at the cabin in Baldwin. Carol was a longtime homemaker and her family was the most important part of her life. She is survived by her two sons, William J. (Susan) LeRoux of Muskegon and Thomas R. (Kim) LeRoux of Holland; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Dacia) LeRoux of Twin Lake, Kelli (Steve) Millis of Muskegon, Troy (Molly) LeRoux of Muskegon, Pam (Bob) Gedert of Romeo, MI, Kelli (Dave) Ridlington of Holland and Kylee Hassevoort of Holland; 11 great-grandchildren, Bryan McCann, Amanda McCann, Shane LeRoux, Shelby LeRoux, Cody LeRoux, Kal LeRoux, Brooke LeRoux, Wyatt LeRoux, Evan Gedert, Brayden Gedert and Ava Gedert; 2 great-great grandchildren, Lexy McCann and Jaxon LeRoux; two brothers, Jack A. Moblo and Michael (Mary) Moblo, all of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Al, Carol was preceded in death by her grandson, Todd LeRoux and two brothers, Richard and Robert Moblo. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be Monday April 21, 2014 from 5-7 pm at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Harbor Hospice. INTERMENT will be in Norton Cemetery.
