to Mike and all of your family....I never met Carol but I feel I missed out on meeting someone very special. Without knowing the perfect words to say, I am just going to say I am praying for peace and comfort in the days ahead as you try to find a place of good memories and joy for having her in your lives all these years.

Dear Mike and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences. We are going to miss Carol greatly. Her kindness and wit made an indelible impression on me growing up, and I always looked forward to seeing her on our summer trips to Pennsylvania growing up.
We're sorry that we are not going to be able to make it out for the funeral, but you will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
We're thankful that we were able to make it to the reunion and see her 2 years ago, but obviously wish we could seen her, and you guys, more.
