Carol Ann Moss' Obituary
Carol Ann Moss, age 76, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born July 16, 1943 in Muskegon to Walter and Lucille (Gorajec) Piasecki. Carol was a Ravenna High School graduate, and on November 30, 1963 married her partner in love and life, Norman Moss in Ravenna. Carol was proud of her Polish heritage and was a passionate contributor to the Muskegon Polish Festival. She took impeccable care of those she loved. Her generosity and sense of humor was felt by all she touched. Carol’s laugh could be felt and heard across the room. She could often be found in the kitchen cooking or baking a thoughtful treat from scratch for someone whose heart she sought to embrace. She was an outstanding host who delighted in sharing her beautiful home with guests from near and far. Carol truly was the bright light of warm gatherings and so many people’s lives.
SURVIVORS include her husband, Norm of Spring Lake; 3 children: Greg (Anna) Moss of Muskegon, Kristine (Patrick) Patchen of Torrance, CA, Rebecca (Christopher) Harding of Norton Shores; 7 grandchildren: Madeline, Lauren, and Andrew Moss, Cole and Alexandra “Ally” Patchen, Rachael (Tyler) Morton, and Jacob Harding; sister, Joan (Edward) Kling; 3 brothers: Mitchell and David Piasecki, Leonard (Donna) Piasecki; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Piasecki. A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held from 1-4 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Muskegon Country Club (2801 Lakeshore Dr., Muskegon, MI 49441). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Muskegon Polish Festival (P.O. Box 1431, Muskegon, MI 49443).
