Mrs. Carol Jean Radakovitz's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Jean “McGuff” Radakovitz age 84, passed away Saturday morning, October 3, 2015 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Carol was born August 20, 1931 in Muskegon. Carol’s parents, John and Anna (Johnson) Panozzo, preceded her in death. Carol married James Radakovitz on November 22, 1952 at Sacred Heart Church and he preceded her in death in 1996. Carol “McGuff”” was a long time bus driver for Muskegon Catholic Schools, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Carol was crafty and witty; enjoyed talking on the telephone, shopping, playing Bingo and cards. Most of all, she loved time spent with her family. Carol is survived by her daughters, Terri Anzivino of Zeeland, MI and Tina Wittek of Muskegon Heights; 7 grandchildren Kelly (Jamie Deaton) Miller, Rachelle (D.J.) Kalee, Gregory (Samantha Schuler) Anzivino, Cindy (Brian) Napieralski, Michael (Nicole) Skofic, Paula (Raymond) White, and Brittany Anzivino; 6 great grandchildren, Hailey, Alyssa, Giuliana, Kate, Anthony and Max; a brother, John (Judy) Panozzo of Grand Junction, CO; a sister, Patsy (Lyle) Gillette of Spring Lake; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Skofic. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 150 E. Summit Ave. with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto as celebrant. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the NOAH Project. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
