Carol J. Tilford's Obituary
Carol J. Tilford, age 76, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020. She was born on July 6, 1944 to Edward and Lena (Vanderkooi) Stott in Muskegon, MI. Michigan has been home to Carol all her life and where she grew her family. She worked for numerous years at Mona Shores Middle School. On March 28, 1964 she married the love of her life, Michael Tilford and together they cherished 55 years full of love and laughter. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2020. She enjoyed taking bus trips to the casino and testing her luck. Carol and Michael enjoyed setting aside time for date nights and spending time with their friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Stephanie Tilford and Kimberly (Kevin) Hillman; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas (Lauren) Kalinowksi and Matthew Kalinowski; 2 sisters, Barbara Munson and Shirley Hall; brother, Paul (Gail) Stott; sister-in-law, Nancy Stott; and brother-in-law, Terry Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Michael Tilford; brother, Larry Stott; and brother-in-law, Larry Munson. No services will take place.
