Carol A. Trasky's Obituary
Carol A. Trasky (Mikulski), 66, of Muskegon, died unexpectedly June 1, 2017. She was born to the late Stephan and Anna Mikulski (Wiebenga) on April 16, 1951 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married the late Jay Trasky in 1972, they moved to Comstock Park where they raised their three children for forty years before Carol relocated to Muskegon after Jay’s death in 2015. She was a cat-lover, enjoyed thrift store shopping, and avid crochetier; she could be often found in her recliner crocheting a blanket for anyone that expressed interest or just to try out a new pattern. Carol often gave her blankets as gifts or donated them to various local charities. Carol is survived by her children Jill (Michael) Fischer of Durham, North Carolina; Brian (Kristina) Trasky of Muskegon; and Kevin (Tracy) Trasky of Boyne City. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Anna, Rayce, and Riley; brothers, Lawrence (Judy) Mikulski and Paul Mikulski; brother-in-laws Eric (Shirley) Trasky, Russell (Anne) Trasky, Dan (Christine) Trasky and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Trasky; brothers Stephen Mikulski, Robert Mikulski; brother-in-law, Timothy Trasky; sisters in laws Connie Trasky, Maureen Mikulski; mother-in-law, Stella Trasky (Slezak); father-in-law, Russell Trasky and two nieces. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to Heaven Can Wait Animal (cat) Rescue in Muskegon.
