Carol Jean Zorn's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Jean Zorn, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2022. She was born in Bailey, Michigan on August 24, 1940, to Harvey and Eleanor (Raby) Clark Parrish. Carol married Robert Zorn on August 6, 1983, in Muskegon, Michigan, and he preceded her in death in June 2021. Carol had worked in accounts payable for Quality Farm and Fleet for 25 years prior to her retirement in 2000. She attended Forest Park Covenant Church. Carol, affectionately referred to by her family as “CJ Pennies” or “the garage sale queen,” enjoyed garage sales and shopping. She also enjoyed country music, going out to eat, and walking on the beach. She is survived by five children: Melony (Marv) Dixon, Julie (Brian) Hutchison, Peter (Dana) Zorn, Andrew (Carly) Zorn, and Jennifer (Stewart) Gray; as well as her son-in-law, Nelson (Patti) Finley; her brother, Harvey Lee Clark; sister, Lona Jane (Jack) Rasey; sister-in-law, Barb Clark; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Robert, Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Finley; great-grandson, Alexander Hutchison; her parents, Harvey and Eleanor Clark; brother, Gary Lyn Clark; sister, Patricia Tindall; and siblings-in-law, Sue Clark, Don Tindall and Spencer Elliott. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Carol will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. VISITATION will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, June 6, 2022, at The Lee Chapel. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. MEMORIALS in memory of Carol may be directed to The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
