Carole J. Hardman's Obituary
Carole Jeanne Hardman, age 82, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born in Muskegon to Raymond and Jean (Montera) Link on May 13, 1943, and went on to graduate from Muskegon High School. On December 15, 1975, she married Alvin Hardman, and the two of them spent 46 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death in 2021.
Carole was an avid reader, loved crafting, and loved spending time outdoors, especially working in her garden, going on walks, and watching sunsets on the beach. She loved to travel, going on many trips all over the world with Alvin. She was a loving, caring, woman who could sometimes be a little feisty, but she always put the needs of others before her own. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Carole will be lovingly remembered by her five children: Tim (Megan) Kroeze, Ted (Brande) Kroeze, Kim (Dave) Trent, Karen (Kevin Schrock) Hardman, and Jennifer Conner; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two siblings, Linda (Richard) Cecot and Raymond Link; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister in-law, Nora Link.
Per Carole’s wishes no public services are being held. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442.
