Carole Faye Hornyak's Obituary
Carole Faye Hornyak, age 93, finally went home to her loving God on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. She was born May 17, 1933 in Kinston, NC to James and Gertrude (Malpass) Wilson and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On June 14, 1950, she married John M. Hornyak. Carole worked for Jaymar Clothing Store and later worked as a sales clerk for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 12 years before retiring in 2005. She was a very active member of the former Lakeside United Methodist Church, enjoyed flower gardening and was an devoted fan of Gospel Music Singer Guy Penrod. Survivors include her 3 children, Michael (Laurie) Hornyak, John Michael Hornyak II, Susan (James) Biegalle; 2 grandchildren, Andrea Hornyak, Nolan Hornyak; and 1 great grandson, Adam Al-Rahomi. She was preceded in death by her former spouse, John M. Hornyak, her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Celebration of Life for Carole will be held privately at a later time.
