Carole Lee Nichols' Obituary
Carole L. Nichols, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Muskegon, MI. She was born to Irene Alexander on September 2, 1941, in Paris, MI. Carole attended Muskegon High School and enjoyed gardening, listening to music, spending time with her bowling league, spending time with family and with her dog Sammy. Carole married the love of her life, Gerald T. Nichols Sr. on December 18, 1959, in Muskegon MI. Carole and Gerald established the Eastside Extravaganza which they proudly devoted 17 years to and raised funds for the Muskegon Twp. Parks Department. She is survived in death by her sons: Gerald “Jerry” (Sue) Nichols Jr., Geoff (Kary) Nichols, Greg (Dawn Downs) Nichols; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her faithful dog Sammy. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Alexander and husband, Gerald T. Nichols Sr. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Pound Buddies. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE LUNCHEON will be held Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM in the Family Center at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI. 49444.
