Carole Jane Lapomarda's Obituary
Mrs. Carole Jane Lapomarda, age 57, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004. She was born May 15, 1947 in Muskegon to Kenneth and Gertrude (Peterman) Chaney and lived her entire life in the area. On December 19, 1970, she married Lawrence L. “Larry” Lapomarda in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on September 25, 2004. Carole had worked as a lunch aide for Bluffton Elementary School. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include her daughters, Jessica (Roy) Holden of Muskegon and Nicole (Timothy) Kolberg of Ravenna; 2 grandchildren, Monica and Joshua Holden; her father and step-mother, Kenneth and Ruth Chaney of North Muskegon; her sister, Mary Ann Wilde of Sarasota, FL; her mother-in-law, Camilla Lapomarda of Muskegon; and her sister-in-law, Rosemarie Flynn of Montague. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Chaney; her brother, Kenneth A. Chaney; her father-in-law, Joseph Lapomarda; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Wilde and John Flynn. THE MEMORIAL MASS will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. VISITATION with Carole’s family will be 6-9 PM Tuesday evening at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Tuesday.
