Carolene Marie McIntosh's Obituary
Carolene Marie McIntosh, age 89, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center. She was born February 11, 1930 in Muskegon to John C. and Clara (Beuerle) Klein and was a lifelong resident. On September 29, 1951, she married Otis M. “Jack” McIntosh in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1988. Carolene was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She volunteered for Hackley Hospital and Widows Together. Survivors include 1 son, Thomas (JoAnna) McIntosh; 3 daughters, Nancy Stevens, Mary (Paul) Schwing, Theresa (Stephen) Stark; 7 grandchildren, Kelly (Milton) Evans, Nathaniel Stevens, Aron Jo McIntosh, Andrew McIntosh, Jack (Jasmine) Stark, Erica Stark, Adam (Hannah) Stark; 6 great-grandchildren, Clara, Sadie, Mimi, Mihkol, James and Elodie. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 2 brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (239 W. Clay Ave.) with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass, 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
