Carolyn L. Diephouse's Obituary
Mrs. Carolyn L. Diephouse, age 84, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born in New Era, Michigan on June 10, 1934 to George and Gertrude (Vanderley) Bosch and was a life time resident of the Muskegon area. She was a member of the first graduating class from Western Michigan Christian High School (1952) and was a member of Ferrysburg Community Church. Carolyn had been employed by Muskegon Printers Industrial Employees Credit Union for 16 years prior to her retirement. Carolyn was strong in her faith and enjoyed witnessing to those she met. She also enjoyed cross stitching and puzzles. On September 26, 1952, Carolyn married John “Bob” Diephouse and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2002. She is survived by her children, David (Dorothy) Diephouse, Timothy (Mark Dyer) Diephouse, Brenda Diephouse, Julie (Anni Graff) Diephouse; five grandchildren, Heather (Dan) Hoffman, Janelle (Reggie) Fritcher, Jared (Stephanie) Diephouse, Noah Hanes, Levi Hanes; six great-grandchildren, Anna, Zoe, Wesley, Eliza, Daphne, Joel; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, John, Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. SERVICES will be 4:30 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Nate Visker officiating. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Friday, September 28, 2018 at The Lee Chapel. MEMORIALS can be directed to Western Michigan Christian High School or Hospice of Michigan. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
