Carolyn Ann (Mulder) Funderburg's Obituary
Carolyn Ann (Mulder) Funderburg, age 71, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born March 26, 1949 in Muskegon to Vernon and Mary (Johnson) Mulder. Carolyn graduated from Orchard View High School and was a member of Cloverville Baptist Church, where she enjoyed praising God and singing with the congregation. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, doing crafts, and was a wonderful cook. But most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Ronald S. (Katy) Funderburg, Shane P. (Rebekah) Funderburg, and Scott A. (Laura) Funderburg; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers: Barry Mulder, Brad Mulder, Tom (Ruth) Mulder, John (Ellen) Mulder, and Stephen Mulder; sister, Elsa (Henry Cevallos) Mulder; many nieces and nephews and their families; and her former spouse, Ronald D. Funderburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Joseph Allen Funderburg; granddaughter, Rachel Lynn Wymer; and great-grandson, Aydin Noffsinger. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and social distancing, a celebration of life for Carolyn will be held later at Cloverville Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
