Carolyn Jo Turk's Obituary
On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, Carolyn Turk passed away at Mercy Hospital at 82 years of age. Born in Muskegon in 1939, she and her beloved family – husband, Chuck, and son, Charlie, lived in their home on Big Star Lake near Baldwin, MI for nearly 50 years. At the time of her death, she resided at The Village at Park Terrace in Muskegon. Carolyn loved music, books, and knitting. She graduated from the Hackley School of Nursing in 1959. She loved nursing and was thought by anyone who knew her to be very caring and nuturing. Carolyn is survived by her son and wife, Charles “Charlie” and Rochelle Turk; grandson and wife, Charles “C.J.” and Kaley Turk; sisters: Helen Luther of Muskegon and Mary VanderWall of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, F. Dale and Harriett Dawson, and her husband, Charles Richardson Turk. A private family service for Carolyn will be held with burial taking place in Oakwood Cemetery. Donations may be sent in Carolyn’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
