Carrie Sue Clark's Obituary
Carrie Sue Clark, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, four days after being diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. She was born in Muskegon on February 22, 1962. Carrie was employed as a senior maintenance technician at Wesco for 37 years and truly loved, and was beloved by, her Wesco family. Carrie enjoyed hunting, riding her motorcycle, and swimming. Most importantly, Carrie loved her family and she cherished time spent with them. On August 26, 1994, Carrie married the former Susan K. Porth and she survives her along with three children, Richard (Erika) Johnson, Rachele (Tony) Todd, and Colton (Cheyenne) Clark; thirteen grandchildren; sisters, Sally Fullmer, Francie (Glen) Wentworth, Bette Matteson, and Debbie (Mark) Palo; brothers, Jimy (Alice) Clark and Jesse (Paula) Clark; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ione Clark; son, Jefferey Johnson; and sister, Mary Nadort. A CELEBRATION OF CARRIE’S LIFE will be held from 5-8 PM Friday, November 17, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
