Your mother was such an inspiration!
I live on her street and would stop to chat when I came upon her walking.
She would be out there walking in 50 mph winds and vertical hail or 4 feet of snow! My next door neighbor and myself would complain about feeling tired or the cold & then we would see her out and say, "How can we think of not walking today, look at Mrs. Mosher!"
She was a lovely woman & will certainly be missed in the neighborhood.
