Mr. Casey Anthony Zaremba's Obituary
Mr. Casey Anthony Zaremba, age 68, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at his home following a courageous fight against cancer. He was born August 8, 1943 in Warsaw, Poland to Felix and Stella (Krupa) Zaremba and came to the United States in 1948. Casey served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1965-70. On June 23, 1973, he married the former Sue Ellen Carlson in Muskegon and she survives him. He worked as a crane operator for Dresser Industries for 20 years. He then worked as a machinist for 20 years with Hy-Lift. He also worked in shipping and receiving for Pinnacle. Since 2005, he has owned and operated Casey’s Computers which he started as a hobby. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Along with his wife, Sue, he is survived by 2 sons, Tony (Katie) Zaremba of Muskegon and Daniel (Barbara) Zaremba of Whitehall; 4 grandchildren, Elden, Oscar, Drake and Ava; 1 sister, Harriet Thomas of Muskegon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Barbara Zaremba; his in-laws, Thurston and Dorothy Carlson; and a brother-in-law, Marvin Thomas. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown as celebrant. VISITATION will be held 5-8 PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM Monday evening. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Military Honors offered by the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
