Cassandra M. "Cassie" Sherwood's Obituary
Cassandra Marie “Cassie” Sherwood, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. She was born September 23, 1975, in San Diego, CA, to Michael and Janet (Baker) Hall. On February 14, 2017, she married Benjamin “Ben” Sherwood in Muskegon, and he survives her. Cassie enjoyed fishing and hunting with Ben and was considered his good luck charm during squirrel season. They also liked watching The Masked Singer together. Above all, Cassie cherished spending time with her family, whom she loved deeply. SURVIVORS include her husband, Ben; five children, Samantha (David) Harris, Breanna Campbell, Brandon (Kali) Bosch, Jr., Anthony Kinney, and Mercedes Kinney; five grandchildren; two sisters, Alicia (Chris Hanson) Morpeth and Jennifer Cumings; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Cassie’s Life will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210.
