Your mom was always such a caring loving person. She always had a hug to give. May our Lord Jesus give you strength in the days ahead to help you all through your loss. My sympathies to Kare's family at this difficult time. Kate was one of a kind. When I was in elementary school she would come to Grandparent's Day with me because my own grandmother lived in Grand Rapids and had to work.I would often call her Grandma Kate.
Kate would often come to my to aunt and uncle's house (Marie and Harold Grabe) and sit at their table, sharing gossip and stories. I would often climb onto her lap and listen as the adults talked.
May she rest in peace. My prayers are with the family.
