Catherine G. Weaver's Obituary
Mrs. Catherine G. Weaver, age 77, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 in Muskegon. She was born on October 2, 1925 in Victoria, MN to Gilbert & Helen (Bowser) Walter, and had resided in the area since the age of 16. She worked for over 20 years at Kaydon Corporation and retired from there. Mrs. Weaver was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo, and loved doing crossword puzzles in her spare time. On May 27, 1944, she married Lawrence Weaver in Muskegon, and he survives her along with 4 children, John (Vicki) Weaver of Whitehall, Helen (Larry) Swarts, David (Michelle) Weaver, and Lawrence A. Weaver II, all of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210, with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM. Services will be published in Friday’s paper. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
