Catherine L. Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Catherine Louise Smith, age 73, passed away early Monday morning, March 10, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born in Shelby, MI on March 6, 1935 to the late Martin and Marion (Fowler) Schultz, and resided in Shelby until she married Fred Smith on June 26, 1954. Mrs. Smith was employed for many years until taking early retirement because of her health. Catherine in survived by her husband of 54 years, Frederick; 1 daughter, Cindy (Gary) Meister of Muskegon; 2 sons, Michael (Mary) Smith of Muskegon, Randy (Karen) Smith of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Becky (Mark) Lynn, Brian (Keri) Meister, Gary Meister II, Megan Smith, Randi Marie Smith, Erica Smith, Brent Smith; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Lynn; 1 brother, Roger (Shirley) Schultz; brothers-in-law, Larry, Louie, David, and Dennie; sisters-in-law, Shirley, Wanda, and Linda; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ted, and a sister-in-law Nancy Workman. Catherine also enjoyed her dog Toby. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday at
