Cecilia Agnes Sievers' Obituary
Mrs. Cecilia Agnes Sievers, age 100 passed away peacefully, early Sunday morning at her residence in Muskegon, the Sanctuary of the Oaks. Cecilia was born on April 3, 1908 in Pinnebog (Huron County), MI to John and Electra (Santhony) Power. She moved to the Detroit area as a young lady and it was there that she met and married Mr. Henry W. Sievers in 1937. Henry preceded her in death in 1972. She resided in Detroit until moving to Muskegon in 2006. Mrs. Sievers enjoyed quilting, was a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years and was a parishioner of the Christ of King Catholic Church in Detroit. She is survived by her: daughter, Barbara L. (Paul) Kidd of N. Muskegon; son, Philip W. (Hilda) Sievers of Detroit; brother, Mark (Mary) Power; sister, Lillian Bambach; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: four brothers; 2 sisters; a granddaughter, Leticia Sievers and a grandson, Jay Buckingham. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at: Christ the King Catholic Church, 20800 Grand River Ave, Detroit, Fr Victor Clore presiding. Visitation with family will be held at:

Wednesday, 6-8 P.M. where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 P.M and at church 1 hour prior to the Mass. She will be laid to rest in Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. Memorial Contributions: Girl Scouts of America.
