Cepriana "Ann" Rose Gzym's Obituary
Mrs. Cepriana “Ann” Rose Gzym, age 89, died Wednesday afternoon, July 25, 2007, in Muskegon. She was born June 6, 1918 in Detroit to Victor & Marcella (Megas) Macheta. “Ann” was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and had previously been employed at The Norge. On July 31, 1948 she married John J. Gzym and he survives her along with 1 sister, Stella Shunta of Muskegon; her brothers-in-law, George (Della) Gzym of Muskegon and Peter (Betty) Gzym of Mesa, AZ; and by many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Stephen and Edward Macheta and sisters, Catherine Lazarock, Margaret Newman and Helen Reddy. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The ROSARY will be prayed at 6PM Friday at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231-798-1100) where visitation will be from 6-8PM; and 1 hour prior to the Mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Saturday morning.
