Cevin Will Certainly Be Missed...From His Famous Pumpkin Pies, To His Hilarious Cards, His Generous Spirit And Devotion To Others...He Will Be Greatly Missed-Clint And Toni Vink And Family
I have so many wonderful memories of Cevin. When he was young driving his small tractor around the yard for hours, spending time on his Grandparents farm and playing with their dog "Chum". His love for his vehicles, always keeping them in running order and sparkling. He had a beautiful smile, easy going manner, and unique sense of humor, especially for Birthday and Christmas cards.
He was always ready to lend a hand no matter what the chore.He was a loving caregiver for his parents.
I am proud to have known you, Cevin Joe. You will always live on in my heart, and the hearts of those who love you.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Cevin's passing. I was shocked when I heard, as he and I are about the same age. I remember many years as a young girl - my mother Rita (Wachter) Zuidema, daughter of Carol and Joe Wachter, would bring me over to play on the bayou and the great lawns of the Bethke house. Lots of summer afternoons with barefoot tag, swimming, fishing amongst the lily pads, and rides in the boat. Cevin and all his brother's seemed to be typical "boys" - into mechanics - always ripping apart and rebuilding many cars. These memories are deeply cherished, and even though I haven't been back since 1987, I am saddened a part of these memories has now left, way too early. You will be missed Cevin, by many. I've only known Cevin for little more than a year, but he consistently was pleasant and calm and reliable. He will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear of Cevins passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. It has been a long time since we have been to Michigan.
