Chad N. Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Chad Norman Johnson, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 19, 2018, in Chicago. He was born March 15, 1976 in Muskegon to Ronald and Marcia (Cribley) Johnson; and has resided in Chicago where he worked as a Corporate Financial Analyst and Consultant. Chad had a huge spirit with an infectious energy that lit up a room. He was passionate about football and an avid U of M fan. He loved learning and graduated from Arizona State with a Bachelor of Economics and a minor in Statistics. He then attended Boston College where he obtained his MBA and a Masters in Finance. He had a huge heart, a kind soul and loved his nieces, nephews and family. On June 7, 2008 he married the former Deborah Ann Emsweller in Saugatuck, MI and she survives him along with his parents, Ron and Marcia Johnson; brother Lance (Lori) Johnson and sister Bethany (fiancé Brady Zuckerman) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Jenna, Landon, Brody, Tucker and Ella. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Chad will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, (231) 798-7619 with Pastor Ben Vegh, officiating. VISITATION with Chad’s family will be 2 – 3:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service.
