Mr. Chad Alan Saunders' Obituary
Chad Alan Saunders, age 50, of Muskegon, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017, surrounded by loving family, after a two-year fight with cancer. He was employed with SAF Holland for 22 years. He had also worked at The Golf Place and was well known for his beautiful work refinishing wood drivers. Chad loved anything to do with the outdoors. In recent years, fishing was his favorite past time. He was an accomplished golfer and he also taught golf for MCC. Speed was his thing: he loved riding his motorcycle in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. He is survived by his loving wife, Dana; step-children, Joe and Nicole Carpenter; and the apple of his eye, granddaughter, Bentleigh Carpenter; Dana’s mother, Deb (John) Stolcenburg; Dana’s father, Don (Sandy) Jensen; Chad’s mother, Judy (Bruce) Dean; and his brother, Chris (Robin) Saunders of Paradise, MI. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Saunders. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 24th, 2017, 4 PM at the VFW Post 8846, 1061 Witham Rd.
