The "boys in the band", of SECTION EIGHT, spent countless hours in our basement, sharing their passion for music and always sharing their sound with the neighbors. They were young, full of energy, and not afraid to "march to their own drummer". Their voices were changing, they were growing taller and thinner, and they had decided that orange hair was so cool. They were "way ahead of the curve". Their first "gig" in our backyard was well attended by their many friends and young groupies on the last day of school after eight grade. The police even showed up to remind us that Muskegon Township had a noise ordinace...even in the early afternoon!! They soon were out doing other gigs, but of course they were too young to drive, so we'd load them up in the van, with all their gear, and take them to places we really weren't too sure of! Were are still very proud that they had the drive and the talent to express themselves through their music. The "boys in the band" have since grown into awesome young men with many talents, and have traveled in many different directions around this country. But they all still carry their love of music and their shared memories of each other. Chad followed his passion until the very end! He touched alot of lives along his journey, and along with his family he leaves behind many, many friends. We are so sorry for your loss, it is so hard to even imangine how broken your hearts must be at this time. We were blessed to have know your son, and our hope is that you find peace in the fact that Chad has brought joy to so many. His memories and his music live on!##imported-begin##Deb and Larry Scharder##imported-end##
