Charlene R. Holt's Obituary
Charlene R. Holt, age 78, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1944, in Muskegon, MI to William Kidder and Ethel Holler. She was a dedicated employee at Standard Auto where she worked for numerous years as a machine operator. On May 27, 1972, she married Earl Holt in Muskegon. Together they cherished 26 years full of love and laughter. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1998. Charlene enjoyed spending her time with friends at the VFW partaking in Chili cookoffs or playing Bingo. She had a knack for finding great deals at yard sales and pressing her luck at the casino. Her hair appointments and day dates at Texas Roadhouse always brought a smile to her face. Her vivacious and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Richard) Tardani and Chris (Paul Merkins) Blevins; stepsons, Dan Holt, Leonard (Michelle) Holt, Jim (Kelly Houseman) Holt and Jeff (Lori) Holt; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Holt; and stepchildren, Frances Witt and Roy Holt. A Celebration of her life will be held from 12-4:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444.
