Charles F. Achenbach's Obituary
Mr. Charles F. “Charlie” Achenbach, age 48, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Muskegon. He was born September 17, 1964 in Cleveland, OH to Fredrick and Joan (Peterson) Achenbach, and resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Charlie was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was posted in Germany. He worked the past 9 ½ years at Tri State Aluminum. Charlie enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and the beach. SURVIVORS include his son, Dallas Chance Tang and his daughter in Germany; mother, Joan Achenbach of Muskegon; brother, Fredrick Achenbach, Jr. of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Deb (Serene) Louks of Allendale and Linda Kelley of Muskegon; 2 special nephews, Fredrick and Brandon Achenbach, along with several nieces, nephews, grand niece and grand nephew; his favorite Aunt Helen Peterson; his fishing buddies from Florida, Sparkie Taylor and Terry Taylor; and all of his co- workers. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick Achenbach in 1987. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11AM Friday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565.
