Mr. Charles M. Carrol Sr.'s Obituary
Charles M. Carroll, Sr. age 84, passed away on February 22, 2017. Charles was born on June 14, 1932 to John and Gladys Carroll. Charles married the former Frances Vanimans and together they were blessed with 5 children. Charles worked as an electrician at Lift-Tech for 58 years. He enjoyed his work there. At one point in his life he worked as a police officer and a volunteer firefighter. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and Muskegon Heights Eagles. Charles enjoyed riding motorcycles, landscaping and spending time with his family. Charles was a wonderful, determined, hardworking man and believed in giving everyone a fair chance. He will be deeply missed. Charles is survived by his children, Robert (Monica Fedolif) Carroll, Phyllis (Ron Pesch) Rushcamp and Felicia Dixon; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Karen (Frank) Naples; and his companion Felicia’s dog, Megan. He was preceded in death by his wife; children, Joseph and Charles Jr.; grandchildren, Joey Carroll Jr. and Charles Carroll III; 3 siblings; and son-in-law, Jim Rushcamp; A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place at 3pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception 239 w. Clay Ave. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the start of the mass at church. Memorial Contributions can be made to the USO.
