Charles "Chuck" G. Sullivan's Obituary
Mr. Charles G. “Chuck” Sullivan, age 83, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born on August 18, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. to Leonard and Clara (Schnupp) Sullivan. Chuck resided in Denver before moving to Redding, CA in 1990. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Chuck worked as a carpet installer, and took great pride in his work. He loved to golf and was a wonderful storyteller, but most important was a great family man. On February 22, 1953, he married the former Jayne Long in Owensboro, Kentucky and she preceded him in death on December 1, 2001. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Linda (Dave) Secor of Palm Desert, CA, Karen (Jay) Mead of Muskegon, Charles (Linda) Sullivan, Jr. of Redding, CA and Barbara (Steve) Mason of Marion, IL; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Jimenez, Jay R. Mead, Bret Worsfold, and Jayne Mead; 4 step-grandchildren, Bradley Secor, Scott Secor, Geoff Mason and Graham Mason; 4 great grandchildren, Amanda Secor, Nicholas Secor, Evan Mason, and Madeline Mason; and 1 brother, Tom Sullivan of Florida. Chuck was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Dickey. Memorial Services will take place in California. Share memories with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
