Charles Edward Clark's Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Edward Clark, age 66, passed on January 18, 2014 to begin a new journey. He fought strongly and bravely for eleven years to battle his cancer. He is now at peace.
Charles was an Army Veteran and served his country in the Vietnam War. He worked at Eagle Ottawa Leather as a millwright in the maintenance department. Charles was also an EMT for North Ottawa Community Hospital, a part-time Firefighter for Grand Haven, and he was a rescue diver as well. His passions in life were sailing, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Clark; two daughters, Eva (Keith Vining) Clark and Shannon Dulin; his loving parents, Carl and Beverly Clark; his brother and sisters: Robert (Sandy) Clark, Theresa (Rudy) Heyn, Karen (Richard) Dempsey, and Beverly (Jim) Green; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marianne Baldus.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Please join us an hour before the service to visit with the family.
