Mr. Charles Lewis Crandall's Obituary
Charles Lewis Crandall, age 87, passed away on April 3, 2014. Charley was born on July 26, 1926 to Clyde and Mary Crandall. In 1947 he married the former Helen Vondrasek and together they were blessed with two children. Charley had two careers during the course of his life, first as a plasterer, and later as a maintenance superintendent at the Muskegon Regional Center. He retired in the late 1980’s. He was a member of Northside Bible Church. Charley enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and watching sports on TV. He was a devoted, faithful, hardworking husband, father and grandfather with a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed. He is SURVIVED by his wife of 66 years, Helen; children, Pat (Ronald) Galy and Clyde Crandall; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Frederick and Orian; sisters, Marvel Cousineau, Bertha Faye and Letha Weaver. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at The Northside Bible Church 1937 Whitehall Rd with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. VISITATION will be held on Monday April 7, 2014 from 6-8 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Avenue 231-726-5210 Memorial contributions can be made to The Northside Bible Church.
