Charles L. "Chuck" Hayford's Obituary
Charles Lee “Chuck” Hayford, age 63, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. He was born July 20, 1954 in Muskegon to Charles and Charlene (Brandl) Hayford. Chuck drove delivery trucks for many years for various companies here in the Muskegon area. He was a great softball player, loved to play pool and go fishing, and also liked to gamble. He enjoyed watching sports, especially ones that involved his grandchildren. Chuck was a hard worker and was liked by everyone. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends at some of his favorite watering holes. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Jason (Kristy) Hayford, Adam (Angie) Hayford of Lake Orion, MI, and Alicia Hayford of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren: Kyleigh and Mason Hayford, Aaron and Austin Hayford, Tony (Bree) Magner, and Haley Hayford; 1 great-grandson, Colton Magner; father, Charles M. (Mary) Hayford of Muskegon; 2 brothers: Larry Hayford of Muskegon, Mike Mikos of Arizona; 5 sisters: Sue (Tom) Kent of Muskegon, Denise (Greg) Sands of Grand Haven, Christine (Albie) Resterhouse of Muskegon, Karen (Bob) Phipps of Muskegon, Jennifer Delaney of Marne, MI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Hayford. A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held from 3-5 PM Friday, October 6, 2017 at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565 and then from 6-8 PM there will be a Celebration of Chuck’s Life potluck at Mibar, 2389 W.
