Charles H. Mastella's Obituary
Charles Hubert Mastella, loving husband of his wife of 60 years Sharon (Chappell) Mastella, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021. Charles “Chuck” was born on April 18, 1936 to Charles and Lucille (Kotlewski) Mastella. He and Sharon were married on June 24, 1961 and were blessed with three children: Steve (Karen) Mastella, Lauri Mastella, and Karen Horan. They have 5 grandchildren: Kersti (Nick) Gerke, Marissa (Jack Paulson) Mastella, Chase Mastella, Kathy (Dakota Betka) Bennett, David (Stacey) Horan, and three great-grandchildren: Iziah Bennett, Natalee and Zoey Horan. Chuck is survived by his brother Larry (Barb) Mastella. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Joyce, and his brother in-law Conrad Pelletier. Chuck proudly served his country in the Air Force prior to his 44 years of employment with the Brunswick Corporation. Chuck was a devout Catholic whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Contributions in Chuck’s memory can be made out to Muskegon Harbor Hospice (1050 W Western Ave # 400, Muskegon, MI 49441).
