Charles Habetler Sechen's Obituary
He has fought the good fight. He has finished the course and never lost faith.
To Charlie the Lord can say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
On July 4, 2021, with his mom and brother by his side, Charles Habetler Sechen entered into eternal rest where he was greeted by his best friend, Jesus Christ; his dad, Larry; grandparents, Charles “Mike” and Paula Habetler and Edward and Shirley Sechen. Charlie was born on March 22, 1982 to Larry and Debra (Habetler) Sechen. He was a member of the Mona Shores High School class of 2000 and a proud supporter of all things University of Michigan along with the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers and the Cleveland Browns. A true Patriot, Charlie had a love and respect for all things military including the U.S. Naval Academy and their Blue Angels, the U.S. Military Academy and their Rangers, and Army Black Knights football. He was a real Disney aficionado and enjoyed numerous trips to Disney World, as well as travels with family and friends that took him to Hawaii, Washington DC, Mexico, Ireland and across the United States. Charlie was a third-degree member of The Knights of Columbus, Council 176 and a member of St. Patrick/St. Anthony Parish in Grand Haven. Charlie is survived by his mom, Debra; brother, Grant; and a host of close family and friends too numerous to mention. The family asks that you consider donations in Charlie’s name to Lacks Cancer Center and Hauenstein Neurological Center.
