Charles Leonard Snell's Obituary
Charles L. Snell, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI. on, October 26, 1935, to Herman and Fern (Afton) Snell. Chuck was someone who enjoyed being outdoors and doing yardwork, going fishing, camping with Lea, snowmobiling, antique cars and spending time with his shih-tzu pal, Snickers. Chuck worked for Jack Dykstra Excavating for over 40 years as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife: Lea Rogers-Snell; children: Charles (Donna) Snell of Dorr, MI., Michael Snell of Grand Rapids, MI.; stepson: Robert (Angie) Rogers Jr.; stepdaughter: Stacey (David) Bisson; 11 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Fern Snell, sister: Patricia Lock and children: Connie Giszewski and Kevin Snell. It was Chucks wishes to not have a visitation or service.
