Charles Ralph Stevens Jr.'s Obituary
Charles R (CJ) Stevens passed away Sunday, May 7th following his lifelong battle with diabetes. Born and raised in Muskegon, CJ stayed close to his roots and kept a strong connection to those special to him throughout his life. Despite the challenges he faced, he continued to share his love and witty humor with his close friends and family, many of whom referred to him as their "best friend". CJ was brought home to heaven to join his beloved mother Lieschen Stevens, brother Loren Stevens, father Charles Stevens, Sr, and grandparents, Helen and Robert Nelson. He will be dearly missed by his son Hunter Mears, several cousins, aunts and uncles, and Tiffany Stevens, to whom he was wed for 10 years, and her children Connor and Maleah who he loved dearly and raised as his "own". A celebration of life is being planned for family and close friends for a later date. Contributions in CJ’s memory may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
