Mr. Charles R. Stromoski's Obituary
Mr. Charles R. Stromoski, 89, passed away early Friday morning, March 28, 2014, in Muskegon. He was born May 4, 1924 to Florence and Anna (Yaroz) Stromoski in Etna, PA, and has lived in the Muskegon area for over 60 years. Charles worked in the maintenance department of the Mona Shores Schools for 25 years, and had previously worked at the Norge. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, and also served as the Chaplain of the VFW Post #8846. On June 28, 1947 he married Annabelle Siglow, and she preceded him in death on June 17, 2013. SURVIVOR include 1 daughter, Sherry (David) Eling of Holton; 1 granddaughter, Lisa (Erik) Carlson; 1 great-grandson, Jacob Nanna; and 1 brother, Raymond Stromoski . A celebration of Mr. Stromoski’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 3, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442,(231) 726-5210
with Pastor John Brown officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service. Military rites will be performed by the VFW Post #8846 and the Muskegon County Council of the VFW. Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
