I am so very sorry to hear the news of Chuck’s passing. He was so much fun and just a great guy. Chuck and I worked together in Ottawa County at the courthouse in Hudsonville for many years; he often stopped by to visit in my office, and it was always a joy to see him and hear his quirky view on events that were occurring there. When I first met him, we discovered that his uncle had been married to my aunt, and they had seven children together so from then on, he called me “cuz”, cousin, and that name stuck throughout the years. He relayed a funny story from his dad about my Polish grandmother, and it was so accurate in his description of her that I could see her again in memory. He was a lovely person. For his wife and family, all of you who loved him, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
