Charles "Tim" T. Taylor's Obituary
Charles “Tim” Taylor, age 64, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born on December 6, 1957 in Muskegon to Charles and Corrine “Corky” (Cooper) Taylor. Tim proudly served his country while in the United States Navy for 20 years before retiring in 1995 While he was stationed in Hawaii, he met Doreen Chun and the two were married on April 1, 1992. Tim was a hard worker who knew how to have a great time. He loved having fun and joking around with others. He was a member of Fruitport Eagles, enjoyed spending time golfing and helped build the Westwind Golf Course. Tim will be missed by his wife, Doreen; children, Marissa Buckingham, Kyle Yoza-Chun, and Justin Taylor; grandchildren, Hunter and Charlotte; brothers, Rick (Kim) Taylor and Randy (Kathie) Taylor; and aunt and uncle, Jim and Sue Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held 11:00, Wednesday, August 17 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions directed to Noah Project or Veteran’s Affairs in Tim’s memory would be appreciated.
