Charles A. "Chuck" Stenberg's Obituary
Mr. Charles A. “Chuck” Stenberg, 83, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Ludington. Born January 22, 1928 in Muskegon to Leonard and Helen (Coon) Stenberg, he lived here most of his life. Chuck was a veteran of World War II service in the Marine Corps and a member of Holton United Methodist Church. He worked as a sheet metal journeyman at Bastian-Blessing and Spectra Mfg. for more than 35 years prior to retiring. He married the former Henrietta Steger, and she survives him along with three children: Michael (Deborah) Stenberg of Muskegon, Kathleen Stenberg and Maryellen (Gerald) Harris both of Twin Lake; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl Stenberg; and sisters: Ardis Liddle, Barbara Walker, and Jane Curry. His parents, his step-father Albert Weiber, and a brother Clyde Stenberg preceded him in death. FUNERAL SERVICES for Mr. Stenberg will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Holton United Methodist Church, 9530 Holton Duck Lake Rd., with Rev. Jerry Selleck officiating, and interment in Holton Cemetery. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
