Charles G. "Chuck" Lindback's Obituary
Mr. Charles G. “Chuck” Lindback, age 80, passed away early Monday morning, November 14, 2011 in Muskegon. Born June 14, 1931 to Leonard and Irene (Westerlund) Lindback, Chuck lived almost all his life in Muskegon. He married the former Gloria Clark in 1952 in Muskegon, and she died in 2006. Chuck was a self-employed land developer and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Vikings, Muskegon Eagles, Elks, and Moose Lodges and Lakeside Veterans Club. HIS SURVIVORS include his children: Skip (Wendy) Lindback, David (Lisa) Lindback, LeAnne (Rafael) Cabrera, Charles (Kathy) Lindback, and Melissa (Steve) Klos; ten grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy (Gary) Blamer. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother James Lindback, and sisters Barbara Sutherland and Peggy Wesley. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Mr. Lindback will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, 2588 Wickham Dr. at W. Sherman Blvd., with Pastor Jim Rausch officiating. Military Rites will be under the auspices of Muskegon County Council Veterans of Foreign Wars. There will be no visitation. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to Muskegon Co.
