Charles H. "Chuck" Routt's Obituary
Mr. Charles H. “Chuck” Routt, age 89, passed away Monday evening, January 1, 2007 in Muskegon. He was born March 4, 1917 to Leonard and Ida Mae (Place) Routt in Lima, Ohio and moved to the Muskegon area in 1919. He had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 32 years before retiring and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Chuck was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. On May 29, 1954 he married Belle Bodus. SURVIVORS include his wife, Belle of Muskegon; 1 son, Roger Routt of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Arthur Routt; and 1 sister, Ethel Carrier. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION at
