Charles J. "Jack" Lindback's Obituary
Charles J. (Jack) Lindback, age 80, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. Mr. Lindback was born March 15, 1927 to Carl and Anna (Pfenning) LIndback in Muskegon and was a life resident. He had been employed by Teledyne Continental Motors and retired from there. Charles joined the U.S. Navy Seabees during WWII, was a life time member of the VFW Post 446, the Lakeside Veteran’s Club, and was a 48 year member of the Viking Linne Lodge. SURVIVORS include his wife of 57 years, Marcele (Keller); son, Brad; and brother, Elmer (Maxine). He was preceded in death by son Scott in 2002, and his parents. According to his wishes there will be no funeral service, but a MEMORIAL GATHERING for family and friends will take place from 1-3 PM Wednesday, March 5, at the Viking Linne Lodge, 3132 Lakeshore Dr. Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery.
