Charles L. "Louie" Frank's Obituary
Mr. Charles L. “Louie” Frank, age 73, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, December 5, 2008. Louie was born January 24, 1935 to Charles and Geraldine (VanDeusen) Frank in Lansing. On January 28, 1998 he married the former Beverly M. Medendorp. Louie was a retired pipe-fitter for U.A. Local #174. He loved camping and traveling and could always be found tinkering at his workbenches. He also enjoyed building his home and patio. Louie belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ludington and was a lifetime member of the Masons Oceana Lodge and Eastern Star. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children, Richard Frank (special friend, Laura Thayer), Keith (Terri) Frank, Kathy (Robert) Cuevas and Karen (special friend, Craig) Frank; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; step-children, Greg (sandy) Hazelmyer, Steve (Deb) Neinas, Diane Kroll, Dan (Dawn) Neinas and Barry (Carol) Medendorp; 12 step-grandchildren; and 1 step-great-granddaughter. Louie is also survived by his sister, Judy (Peter) Forgar and brother-in-law, LeRoy (Lucy) Medendorp. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Dalton Baptist Church, 3777 Holton Rd. with Pastor Andy Husmann presiding. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at
